Duck, swipe and swerve your way through this exciting version of tennis using softer balls and smaller racquets. The slower pace means those who want to perfect their technique and improve their confidence have a fantastic opportunity to do so. And you’re not running as far either, so you’re literally getting all the thrills and spills of tennis, squeezed into half the court.

Slower reaction times means you’ll enjoy longer, better rallies, so make it a single or a double and bring on the action. Open to all members, this is a class that’s as competitive as you want it to be, so get going and above all, be yourself! Bear in mind you’ll still be getting many of the traditional benefits of tennis, building agility, co-ordination and flexibility as you work on those shots and improve your skills.

For a novice, this is the ideal introduction to a game that is probably one of the most enjoyable and effective ways of staying active and keeping fit. Because it’s a low impact sport, anyone can take part. But you’ll be having so much fun you won’t even realise how good it is for you.Work at your own pace, become a better tennis player and enjoy longer match play in a relaxed environment that’s fantastic for those who don’t want to cover a full court. What’s there not to love?
