Further to the recent WBC Design presentation delivered in Oran Mor on the 2nd May 2023, and receipt of comments via the dedicated E-Mail address both pre and post presentation I have attached a copy of the Design Advisory Groups Member Update and recommendations, together with a copy of Collective Architectures presentation on the night.

Update from the Design Advisory Group
We are pleased to present the documents relating to the planned work at the Western Baths Club which have been prepared by the Design Advisory Group.
One explains in some detail what is planned; the other is a list of FAQs. Both of these, along with drawings are available to all members; will be posted on our website and will be on display at the Baths. Further 3D imagery can be seen by clicking on the Perspective Views button below. All drawings are also available to view in the Bar lobby at the Baths.
The Members’ meeting to discuss the Design proposals for the Western Baths Club building will take place on Tuesday 2nd May 2023 at 6.00pm in Oran Mór.
For those of you who are not familiar with the venue, it is close to the Baths, at the top of Byres Road, opposite the Grosvenor Hotel. The meeting will take place downstairs (where A Play, A Pie and A Pint is held at lunchtimes). There is lift access- entry from Great Western Road via the restaurant and brasserie. Oran Mór offers us ample space, good acoustics and full technical support.
We will be joined by Andrew Cardwell of Collective Architecture. Members of the Committee and the Design Advisory Group will be in attendance, the meeting will be chaired by Richard Bennie, Chair WBC Committee.
The purpose of the meeting is to discuss the proposals and address questions/concerns in relation to the current proposals including those already submitted via the dedicated email address [email protected] which will remain open to receive comments up to the date of the meeting.
