NOTES Members paying by instalments must do so by Direct Debit. The second junior member in a family receives a discount of £35 and the third and subsequent juniors a discount of £50 on the above junior subscriptions of £190. Family membership includes all children aged 3 to 17 years of age on 1 November 2023. Pensioner membership is open to members aged 65 and over on 1 November 2023. Country membership is available to members who do not have a place of residence or a place of business within 30 miles of The Western Baths Club and who do not, on average, make use of the facilities of the Club on more than one occasion per week. Associate (18-23) membership is available to members who will be aged 18 to 23 on 1 November 2023. The Student out with Strathclyde membership is available to students who do not live within 30 miles of the Western Baths during term time. *Partnership membership is available to married couples, civil partnerships and cohabitees. **A discounted joining and membership fee are available to members earning the equivalent or less than the current Scottish Minimum Wage. Members wishing to take advantage of this discounted fee should complete an additional application form, which is available from Reception. Social members have access to the Deepend Bar Bistro and social events only.

Can I join on a temporary basis?

We offer a temporary membership to visitors whose normal residential address is outside the Greater Glasgow & Clyde Area. You can contact reception to find out more on 0141 576 0294.

Can members bring guests along?

Members can sign in guests for the day – up to three guests can be signed in by an individual member. The cost of signing a non-member into the Baths is £12* for adults and £6* for juniors. The same guest should not be signed in more than six times a year.

Can I buy a day pass?

We do not offer day passes or free trials to non-members. You can however be signed in as a guest by a current Western Baths member.

Can non-members attended classes?

Non-members are welcome to attend our *exercise classes on a pay as you go basis. Classes can be booked at reception or by calling us on 0141 576 0294. Bookings can only be made within **24 hours of the class taking. Classes are payable at time of booking.

*Aquafit is restricted to members only.

Can I book swimming lessons?

Swimming lessons are only available to Western Baths members. We run a full programme of 1-1 and group lessons for Children and 1-1 lessons for Adults. For more information on lessons, please contact Allan Rhodes by email at [email protected]
