CYCLE CLUB OUTING SATURDAY 20TH AUGUST

The next ride will be to Auchinstarry Basin, which is on the canal near Kilsyth.

A round trip of twenty-eight flat miles. It’s a nice ride and not difficult.

You’re in the country in about twenty minutes and there’s some lovely scenery.

At the basin there is a nice restaurant/bar which we’ve used several times.

As usual please make sure you have everything you need to fix a puncture, I’d suggest having a spare tube. Not strictly a supported ride however help is normally on hand.

We’ll meet at the Baths at 09:45 and leave at 10:00. As normal it’ll be weather dependent. The ride will be confirmed a few days before.
